I’m constantly wishing for summer – the sun on my skin and sitting by lakes (or the sea!). The past week or so, we’ve been having hints of spring weather so I thought I’d share one of my favourite types of ostomy outfit for this kind of weather!
Feeling summery with Tobi
Last year, I fell in love with the bardot style top; it screams spring/summer and always makes you’re outfit look effortlessly put together. They’re also a really good way of injecting some colour/summer patterns into an outfit. My two go-to colours are blue and red and I absolutely adore this red rose patterned bardot top from Tobi (which is my new fave online clothes website!!).
Not only is it a gorgeous colour, it’s one of the only bardot tops I have which STAYS OFF THE SHOULDER!! I always struggle with tops like this moving up onto my shoulder but this one stays like this and feels so nice on. The length is really flattering too – I chose to tuck it in a bit however, it would also cover your stoma bag slightly too!
The perfect, yet affordable, mom jeans – Perfect for wearing with an ostomy
Onto the jeans which are my new favourite mom jeans. These are the ASOS Farleigh jeans and they are so so comfortable. I used to be a Topshop jean kinda gal (don’t get me wrong, I still am) but these are half the price and fit my body much better! They’re still slightly skinny so you have shape but still with the mom jean vibes.
What I love most about these jeans is how high waisted they are! However high your stoma is, these jeans should cover the whole bag. Not only do feel more supported by them around the bag area, they also feel super comfy (yet still look stylish!).
Tell me in the comments : What are your go to jeans?
