Hey there folks,
IT’S NEARLY CHRISTMAS!!!! And I am sooooo behind on Christmas presents. I still have a few people to buy for, especially my mum and dad after Peter Kay cancelled his tour (which I’m v sad about). I’m hoping for a productive week ahead of getting everything I need. But before I get caught up in what I need to do in the run up to Christmas, it’s time to look back on the past week.
I SAW HAMILTON
After two years of obsessing over the soundtrack, I finally saw Hamilton this week on the West End and it was the best thing I have ever seen. There will be a full post up sometime next week so I won’t go on too much in this little post. I’ve been looking forward to seeing this for a year and I genuinely can’t believe I saw it. The case were so talented and to hear the music live was breathtaking.
Driving home for Christmas
After 3 long shifts at work this week, I got the 7am train home and boy does it feel good. I off for a whole month over the Christmas period; it’s just nice to be able to actually have a break and be back in one of my favourite places in the world.
Brunching with my work friends
Last Sunday, I headed to Leaf on Portland Street with three of my work friends, Eff, Yanny & Lauren. It’s great to spend time having a chat and a laugh about anything and everything (our pets and books we’re reading were two very popular topics), especially outside of work. And if brunch and tea is involved, it’s only going to be good!
Taking a trip to HOME
I love spending time at HOME. It’s such a cute, warm and inviting place with good food and coffee; two things I always appreciate. I’ve never been to the theatre there before so when I got to go last week to see Red Riding Hood & the Wolf, I was very excited.
Unsubscribing from unnecessary things
One of the things I would like to achieve in the new year is living a more minimal life. I found this great infographic on 9 easy ways to start living a more simple and intentional life. I thought this was a great place to start and one of the things is to unsubscribe and focus on what you actually want to see. So I’ve been trawling through my emails, unsubscribing left right and centre. I got rid of all the subscriptions which I always just skip past; mainly shops and brands which I never even look at. Instead, I’m trying to fill my inbox with all the amazing blogger newsletters which are so lovely to read.
