How is it October already?! I can almost taste Halloween! This week has been a strange one; I’ve been super busy but not. I’ve spent a lot of the week either at work or uni but it definitely feels good to be back into some kind of routine. Now I just need to find a new cosy show to binge watch this fall!

Before I start with my 5 things this week, I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s voting for me in The Blog Race. I actually won last weeks challenge with this post and have immunity this week! I’m so pleased at how I’m doing and I really feel like this challenge is really making me think about the content I create and pushing me a bit which I love!

Listening to the rain

As we are well and truly into autumn now, the rain has come to. As I write this I’m listening to some rain and very heavy wind. One thing I absolutely love and find super calming is just sitting and listening to the rain. It’s one of my favourite things to do (as long as I know I don’t have to go out in it!)

Food dates with friends

You’d think living with some of your best mates that you’d see each other all the time. Turns out we see each other even less as we’re all either at work or at uni. So I actually see my friends, and food is a key part of our friendships, I’ve started going out on little food dates with them so I can actually see my friends and catch up with them.

Getting into the october spirit

I love october and this week I’ve really been getting into the spirit of the season. I bought this super cool shirt from ASOS which has all the autumnal witchy vibes (and I feel super cool in it). I’ve also bought the cutest bedding from ASDA which has wizard cats on. I’ve also been eating more autumnal with roasted veg, butternut squash and I got the most gorgeous pumpkin soup from Covent Garden Soup Co.

Feeling like I have a life plan

This week I feel like I have some kind of plan of where I want to be in life and what I want to do. I started uni again this week and it’s really motivated me to know where I want to be and how I’m going to achieve it. I’m feeling pretty content right now and have lots of things in place to help me find where I’m going.

Yes, lavender featured last week too but instead of being a bath bomb, I mean the scent in general. I’m obsessed. I have room spray and bubble bath as well and I find the scent so so relaxing which is definitely what  I need right now.

How’s your week been?
