5 THINGS THIS WEEK (#4)

This is a view I will never get tired of. It’s from my friends flat and you can watch the most gorgeous sunsets from there. It’s now officially autumn and it’s definitely feeling like it too! The nights are drawing in and there seems to be a chill in the air. I love it! I’m also super grateful to everyone who voted for me in last weeks The Blog Race challenge, I even got highly commended which was amazing!! You can take a look at this weeks challenge here and voting opens tomorrow!

1. Lavender Bath Bombs

Lavender is one of my absolute favourite smells. If you read my post on improving sleep, you’ll know I’m loving Lush’s Sleepy lavender body cream. As I loved it so much, I picked up a lavender bath bomb. It smells absolutely amazing and made my bath so relaxing. It’s perfect for a Sunday night bath where you just want to chill and have a pamper for the week ahead.

2. Going back to the gym

I’m on a bit of health kick at the moment. There’s something about the new season which makes me want to start a fresh and try things again. I’ve wanted to get back into my fitness so I took the plunge and signed up for a 7 month student membership. I’ve already been twice this week and feel so good because of it.

3. Food & Friends

This week I’ve had two great evenings with my friends having some good food. On Tuesday, I headed to Soilta’s in Didsbury and had the most beaut burger. I love Solta’s so much but I’d never been to the one in Didsbury and I think it might be my favourite one. They do such a selection of burgers and the starters are always amazing – burger spring rolls are a thing of genius, let me tell you!  On Thursday, we had chinese take out and my friends (who has the amazing view) and you really cannot beat a takeaway and film night, can you. Especially when the film is the hilarious Identity Theft.

4. Homemade Nachos

Big shout out to my housemate/best mate/all round star Emma (check out her blog and insta) for teaching me how to make homemade nacho’s, guac and salsa. It was meant to be a mid afternoon snack but ended up being a bit of a meal. Keep your eyes peeled next week for a little recipe on how to make it!

5. Pumpkin Spiced Lattes

It’s officially PSL season people! And boy am I glad to have this drink back in my life. I’m not the biggest fan of Starbucks coffee but I love their autumn and winter drinks so so much. I’ve definitely been having my fair share of these this past week. I know it’s sad, but the taste of them makes me feel so happy and autumnal!

How’s your week been?
