5 THINGS THIS WEEK (#3)

I feel like this week has gone so fast and I’m complexly confused as to what day it is. I feel like this week has been quite a chilled week and I’m trying to get everything ready and sorted for starting back at uni. Even though all my friends start next week, I still have another week off. I guess it gives me even more time to start prepping and stuff.

Also I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who voted for me in this weeks #TheBlogRace challenge because I’m through to next week!! I’m super super excited to see what the next challenge is.

1. Mindfullness & starting a 30 day self care challenge

One of my favourite magazines at the moment is called In The Moment. It’s all about mindfulness and simple living and its such a lovely thing to just sit and read. In this months edition, there’s a 30 day self care plan and I’ve decided to take on the challenge. It’s all about taking a few minutes out of your day to just sit and breath and there are different things to do which will hopefully make you feel good. In the time I set aside to do this, I’ve also started doing some guided meditation with the Calm app. I’ve only just started so I will keep you updated.

2. Getting back involved in the blogging community

One of the many things I love about The Blog Race is how I’ve become more involved in the blogging community. If you follow me on twitter, you’ll have noticed that I’m a lot more active on there than I have been the past few weeks/months. I’ve really enjoyed talking and interacting with more people and I feel like this blogging competition is really putting more positivity back into blogging!

3. Cosy film nights

Who doesn’t love a good film night? The other day me and my housemates had a cosy film night watching Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging which was always one of my faves. We did have a laugh at how cringe it was but it was still a good watch! There’s something about autumn nights which are just perfect for sitting in watching all the box sets and films!

4. Having an autumn clean

Autumn cleans are a thing right?? Just like a spring clean I felt like I needed to get my shit together and sort my room out before I start uni again. There’s something about the change of a season which makes me want to organise. I always feel like september and new terms are the perfect excuse to tidy up and start a fresh.

5. Train journeys

I absolutely love train journeys. They always seem so full of adventure. This week I feel like I’ve lived on trains travelling back from London and then to Manchester. I love taking the time on the train to come away from social media and get stuck into a good book.
